02 — Deterministic by design
Kijun's determinations are deterministic — the same inputs produce the same answer, every time, each one traceable to the rule behind it. AI assists with explanation and drafting; it never makes the determination. For a regulator, that's the difference between a tool you can defend on review and one you can't.
Because a deterministic determination is reproducible, it is auditable by construction — a property a generative system cannot offer.

Kijun's first configured domain is ConsentIQ: a building-consent readiness check that tells New Zealand building designers whether a submission is ready to lodge — and exactly what's missing if it isn't. The same platform, configured to one regime — proof that Kijun runs end-to-end against a real, regulated domain, not a slide.

03 — Ownership
The rules you author in Kijun are your intellectual property. You own them outright; Kozure makes no claim on your domain content. You bring the regime; Kijun runs the determination on it and keeps the record.
04 — Security & residency
Determinations are deterministic and reproducible — reproducibility is a property of the system, not an add-on.
Infrastructure
Runs on certified cloud infrastructure. Sub-processors hold SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
Tenant isolation
Each regime's data is isolated at the database layer — row-level security on a per-tenant key. Built, not aspirational.
Encryption
Encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS), inherited from the underlying platform.
Data residency
Australia (Sydney) is the current floor. In-country New Zealand residency is not yet available on our managed platform — defensible for RESTRICTED / SENSITIVE-or-lower.
Procurement
Kozure is pursuing government listings — AU buy.nsw and the NZ Government Marketplace (SaaS).
05 — Day one
Today, Kijun is delivered as a supervised service: your team authors the regime, and Kozure commits, attests, and provisions it. Authoring sign-off is a two-part attestation — you attest the regime is substantively correct, Kozure attests it is structurally sound — so the record holds up with both names on it.
Fully self-serve authoring and provisioning are on the roadmap; we don't sell them before they're real. You get a working, auditable determination service now — not a promise.
