Compliance determination software for NZ and AU

Turn a rulebook into an answer you can prove.

Kozure builds deterministic compliance determination software. An organisation that owns a set of rules can turn them into a readiness check, with a trail behind every result that holds up on review. The people who have to meet those rules find out where they stand while there is still time to fix it.

The platform

We build one engine and configure it to your regime.

For regulators, agencies & regime owners

kijun

You run a regulator, an agency, or some other body that owns a rulebook. Kijun turns that regime into a check your applicants run on themselves.

You author the rules. Kijun makes the determination and keeps the record of how it got there.

In market

Already running against a real regime.

ConsentIQ tells New Zealand building designers whether a consent application is ready to lodge, and what to fix if it is not. It has been doing that on real projects, in a live regulated domain, on the same deterministic approach Kijun runs on. It is the first domain we are bringing onto the shared engine.

Why deterministic

The determination never comes from a model.

Compliance is the one place where a probable answer is no good. Kozure determinations run on a deterministic spine, so the same inputs against the same rule return the same answer, and any answer can be reproduced from the rule and the inputs it came from.

We do use generative AI. It explains a result or drafts a reply. It never makes the determination. Where that line sits is the whole design.

Who we are

A New Zealand software company.

Kozure Ltd builds and operates the determination engine itself, from Aotearoa. We work with organisations in New Zealand and Australia.

If you own a regime and want to talk about it, start with Kijun or email hello@kozure.io.
